24TH June 2010: F.A.O. Nick, Paul, Craig, Scott, Chris, Ewan, and Ross.
I suspect that at tonight’s meeting your attention will be focused on the actual evening of the ‘Stars’ celebration, and on the latest spreadsheet which was recently ‘cobbled together’. There is MUCH more to be considered.
The figures from both ‘sides’ are largely based on estimates and on circumstantial evidence.
A crucial piece of ‘evidence’ which may be put to you tonight concerns the sum of £600 (in used £5 notes withdrawn from the tombola) which Stuart claims was paid to one of the speakers. The story does not hold water, and will not stand scrutiny in Court. That is a fact and I’m willing to explain the reasons to any of you in confidence. In the original accounts submitted to the Police BY THE COMMITTEE, the same item of expenditure (which was actually £650) was assigned to J.G. and was not disputed.
My concern as one of your fellow Trust members has always been that justice must not only be done, but must be seen to be done.
I sincerely ask you one and all, irrespective of any differences or misunderstandings we may previously have had, to insist that before any decision is reached on further action you are made privy to every item of email correspondence between the ‘Trust’ and Jim Gallacher, and to ALL of the pertinent legal documentation.
I’ll willingly provide copies of those documents to you individually. I’ve already explained more formally that the terms ‘extortion’ and ‘blackmail’ have been used by J.G.’s solicitor.
It’s for all of you as a committee representing all of the members to ensure that things are now done in a manner which involves as little further damage as possible to everyone involved, but more importantly TO THE TRUST. You are responsible for your actions on behalf of a Membership which expects you to safeguard its interests. I ask you to take that responsibility very seriously tonight.
That email (which has been edited down) was composed IN CONJUNCTION WITH the new committee members and the draft had been approved by Paul Gill. On the day after the meeting this was received from Nick Robinson (again edited down).

The Stars of 79 night
All members of the board have now had full access to the papers and computations the “previous” board have prepared in support of their case against Jim Gallagher….
…. As a result the board is unanimous in broadly supporting the actions taken to date…… none of us will be able to correspond with you…. if we do, such correspondence will require to be copied to all board members.
If you believe that you have firm evidence to refute the board’s position it would be in everyone’s interest if that could be made available for our further consideration.
Nick Robinson CA
When Nick Robinson CA spent almost two hours chatting to Mortonjag M.B., Ch.B. in the Admiral Bar, he brazenly lied to him about ‘independence from the old guard’. He had similarly lied to fellow accountant and Trust member Iain McGregor.
Having achieved his intended goal, he also left a ‘Voicemail’ message for Mortonjag, suggesting that the latter had ‘backed the wrong horse and would be better to get out’. He promised to call again later but no further call was received. It had become apparent that Nick Robinson had no conception of morality.
Mortonjag had said:
With that in mind I sincerely ask you one and all….. to insist that before any decision is reached on further action you are made privy to every item of email correspondence between the ‘Trust’ and Jim Gallacher, and to ALL of the pertinent legal documentation.
He had responded with:
All members of the board have now had full access to the papers and computations the “previous” board have prepared
BUT NOT THE EMAILS AND LEGAL DOCUMENTATION WHICH SCREAMED ‘STITCH UP’, AND THEFT BY DONNELLY!
‘If you believe that you have firm evidence to refute the board’s position it would be in everyone’s interest if that could be made available for our further consideration.’
THEY ALREADY POSSESSED THAT FIRM EVIDENCE. THEY HAD FAILED TO EXAMINE IT AS REQUESTED BY A PAID UP TRUST MEMBER!
They listened to the now discredited and lying perjurer Stuart Duncan’s story, Robinson and Gill made no attempt to counter that, and they all agreed to continue in pursuit of their innocent victim.
WHO SAID SO?
A trustworthy ex- committee member, during a subsequent meeting with Mortonjag.
The new committee comprised largely of fresh faced youngsters, fazed by Mr. Duncan’s perceived importance on the Morton scene. Mortonjag had been discredited locally – primarily by Duncan, Goodwin, and Morrison – and on the fans’ message board, where, facilitated by owner and Morton photographer David Bell, Mortonjag and Jim Gallacher had also been subjected to orchestrated character assassinations.
A sure sign of the integrity of the G.M.S.T. is that of those original fourteen, only Robinson and imbecilic ‘Chairman Chucklechops’ Feeney remain.
Two of them might have stood up to Stuart Duncan, as they had pledged to do, but Paul Gill had been promised the Chairman’s position when Duncan resigned, and Nick Robinson was simply Hell bent on power.
Having outlived purpose, Mortonjag was duly stabbed in the back. Paul Gill soon realised that his ‘relaunched’ Trust was doomed by the ongoing ‘Stars’ fiasco, and the Mancunian interloper disappeared like snow off a dyke leaving Robinson in full control.
THE TRUST HAD FINALLY DIED AS A DEMOCRACY.
AND FINALLY, TODAY WAS THE DEADLINE FOR THE G.M.S.T. 2017 A.G.M.
PERHAPS THEY’LL ‘GET AROUND TO IT’ IN JULY!
