In his hastily shelved valedictory speech for the 2015 G.M.S.T. A.G.M. which failed to take place in mysterious circumstances, Trust Chairman and TOADMEISTER Nick Robinson stated emphatically that the possibility of court action in the Stars of 79 matter ‘had been overcome’, and that he (The Trust) HAD REASON TO BELIEVE further repercussions were highly unlikely.
The TOADMEISTER was confident that the Trust’s claim on Mr. Gallacher’s Trust Deed would succeed. No other conclusion seems possible, but what was the REASON for that confidence when the Trustee ultimately found insufficient evidence to support the claim?
Did TOADMEISTER believe that fellow bean counter and Trustee Iain Forsyth was about to accept the claim without considering the evidence, and if so WHY?
THE TOADMEISTER’S SHAMELESS VALEDICTORY SELF-PROMOTION WAS SIGNED BY HIMSELF AND TWO OF HIS TOADPOLES ON 31ST MAY 2015.
Just two days later Jim Gallacher sent an email to his Trustee reminding him of the contentious nature of the Trust’s claim. That ‘set the cat among the pigeons’, and the ‘comedy of errors’ which supervened beggars belief!
It just gets better folks!
MORE VERY SOON.
