F.A.O. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES.

As the Greenock Morton Supporters’ Trust seeks desperately to justify its existence while its Chairman in absentia cow tows to the Rae family, all who are interested in honesty, democracy, and justice, may wish to consider this unanswered question. WHY DID ROBINSON FAIL TO PURSUE DONNELLY. SHOULD THIS BECOME A POLICE MATTER?

On 27th November 2009, Sean Donnelly sent the following email from his sick bed:

The following day, Jim Gallacher – who had co-organised the ‘Stars of ’79’ event with Sean wrote:

One could be excused for thinking that at a time of personal distress Sean (who was going to be ‘out of commission for a few months’) must have been extremely grateful for such unsolicited and empathic support from his co-organiser. One would, however, have been wrong!

JUST FOUR DAYS later and clearly a miracle of modern medicine, Sean sent the following email:

He clearly stated that a ‘theft’ (by his co-organiser) had taken place, and was already assuming a leading role in the police involvement.

Convalescence from his spinal stroke ought to have been of paramount importance to the man who ‘had already passed all monies over’ but that was evidently not the case – indeed less than two hours later he already seemed to have decided exactly what was to happen next!

F.A.O. all Greenock Morton Supporters’ Trust Members.

Jim Gallacher was cleared of criminality by Strathclyde C.I.D. The Trust committee subsequently brought a ‘Small Claims’ action against him with NO mandate from you – the members. When the Trust Accountant realised that that action would inevitably fail, he sought postponement on a financial technicality. The matter will call again in court in due course when the Trust is likely to suffer a heavy financial penalty. The committee members refuse to admit that to themselves – let alone to you – the paying members of a purportedly democratic organisation.

Meanwhile, Sean Donnelly still cannot account for a substantial proportion of his ‘Stars of ’79’ ticket income. The Trust Accountant (Donnelly sat on a dedicated sub-committee along with him to examine his OWN deficit!) has ‘adjusted’ the figure downwards to £535, but an independent accounting review sets Mr. Donnelly’s shortfall at well over twice that value.

WHY HAS SEAN DONNELLY NOT BEEN PURSUED FOR THIS MONEY? WHY WAS ONE CO-ORGANISER PERSECUTED WHILE THE OTHER WAS PROTECTED FROM PUBLIC SCRUTINY?
